Shelby Edwards (she/her)

CEO and Co-Founder

Demographic: Deaf, DeafBlind, blind, low-vision, late deafened, hard-of-hearing (HOH), and LGBTQ Communities

As a proactive leader and ASL interpreter with over 10 years of experience, Shelby is committed to driving impactful and lasting change. She holds dual B.A. degrees in ASL-English Interpreting and Deaf Studies from Maryville College. During her freelance career, Shelby saw firsthand that a one-size-fits-all approach to accessibility services did not properly address the needs of the communities she served. This led to co-founding two companies specializing in accessibility solutions. Shelby is a passionate advocate for the disability community, championing inclusion as a fundamental human right.

Interests: Born and raised in Tennessee, Shelby’s first love was theatre and she enjoyed participating in local bilingual plays. Now at home in New York City, she continues to embrace the vibrant theatre scene that Manhattan offers. Shelby can often be found multitasking from a taxi, plane, or even a boat! She loves to travel and is always seeking her next adventure.

Tyler Herron (he/him)

CFO and Co-Founder

Tyler is a trilingual interpreter with over 10 years of experience dedicated to fostering inclusive communities. He holds dual B.A. degrees in ASL-English Interpreting and Spanish Language & Literature from Maryville College. Known for his solution-oriented mindset, Tyler is always looking to improve processes and outcomes. Leveraging a lifelong passion for language, he expanded his entrepreneurial skills to develop business models that directly tackle challenges of both service providers and consumers. After co-founding ICS, he went on to co-found Eclipse Scheduling, the first IDEA-focused (inclusivity, diversity, equity, and accessibility) all-in-one service management platform for the interpreting and accommodations industry.

Interests: Tyler is a world traveler with a passion for hiking, camping, and exploring diverse cultures and communities. His adventures inspire him to experiment with new recipes in the kitchen. In addition to his adventurous spirit, Tyler practices Zen meditation.

Noel Hansen (she/her)

Noel is a compassionate advocate for the Disability Community with a focus on providing accessibility support for culturally and physically diverse urban populations. She holds a B.A. in ASL and English Interpretation from Gallaudet University in Washington D.C. Noel is a certified ADA Coordinator, with expertise in the Americans With Disabilities Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and NYC Human Rights Law.

Born and raised in New York, Noel enjoys SCUBA diving, photography, and playing volleyball. Her family and small zoo of animals bring her joy.

Kaycee Summers (she/her)

Kaycee is a talented Deaf professional with a diverse background in contract management, university advancement, and education. She holds a B.S. from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in New York and an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education from Arizona State University. Kaycee has also worked at RIT, Gallaudet University, and the University of Texas, where she served as an Outreach Coordinator, Project Manager and Deaf Mentor. As a dedicated leader with a disability, Kaycee brings unique insight and the right tools to make a real difference in accessibility accommodations.

Born in California and raised in Colorado, Kaycee loves plants, dogs, and the outdoors! She partakes in axe throwing leagues, bakes sourdough goodies and also enjoys stand up paddleboarding.

Aitana Cuenca Espinós (she/her)

Aitana is a versatile multilingual translator and interpreter, specializing in English to Spanish (EN-ES) translation and interpretation. She’s also a skilled project manager with a lifelong enthusiasm for languages cultivated since childhood. Aitana holds an M.A. in Spanish Translation from Kent State University in Ohio and a B.A. in Translation and Interpreting from Universitat de València in Spain. She is a native speaker of Spanish and Catalan, bilingual in English, and proficient in French.

Rebecca Hull (she/her)

Rebecca is a deaf professional who grew up in an oral environment and later earned her B.S. from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where she first connected with the Deaf community and culture. Learning American Sign Language (ASL) opened new doors and sparked her drive for advocacy. With a background in biology, social work, and grant writing, Rebecca brings an inclusive and thoughtful approach to her role as our Marketing Manager.

Rebecca loves to try out new gluten-free, dairy-free, recipes in the kitchen. On the weekends you can find her hiking in the great outdoors or at her art desk wood-burning (pyrography).

Nora Broz (she/her)

Nora’s passion for compelling performances and clean audio has driven her goals and her focus. With a BA from Columbia College in Chicago, her background in acting and directing has led her to teach in a remote Alaskan village and back home in the Midwest. Her voiceover work has given her the opportunity to contribute to both educational and entertainment projects, developing expertise in complex project management and production. Known for her detail-oriented approach, Nora excels in scheduling and managing multifaceted accessible projects from start to finish.

Interests
Nora is all about picking up new skills – whether it’s drawing, cooking, or woodworking – and she loves sharing what she learns through storytelling, voice acting, and improv. On weekends, you might spot her racing through Illinois on her motorcycle (if you can catch her!) or relaxing with her husband, two adorable mutts, and a good board game.

Sarah began learning ASL in high school and continued her studies through college. After two years at community college, she transferred to Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Upon returning to New Jersey, she launched her career in New York City and has spent over a decade freelancing, specializing in educational and tourism interpreting.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Sarah is a true beach lover. She could spend all day by the ocean, where the waves wash away all her worries. She enjoys live music, singing, and dancing with friends. At heart, she is a Disney princess with innate musicality.

Dani is dedicated to advocating for the Deaf and DeafBlind communities, bringing experience from her time at the Helen Keller National Center. A recent graduate of Bloomsburg University, she has worked extensively in educational and entertainment settings, ensuring equitable communication access for all.

Interests
A born and raised New Yorker, Dani grew up on Long Island playing just about every sport under the sun. She has always had a passion for music and theater and loves entering Broadway lotteries to catch a show whenever she can. An avid singer (though these days, her car is her main stage), she also enjoys cooking and spending time with friends and family.
